The park with its centuries-old trees, the orchard and the garden enrich the environment surrounding the house and require maintenance work cut out for children and adolescents.
There are many opportunities to experience gardening, starting from the simplest activities such as collecting and transporting wood and leaves, which can also involve young children and children with severe illnesses.
This work promotes cognitive differentiation, classification and learning, while bringing together the cyclical nature of the rhythm that immediately invokes the experiences of growth and change. Knowing the abilities and difficulties of each child and identifying the characteristics and sequence of the actions concerning these activities allow for appropriate therapeutic and rehabilitative solutions.
